The Ford Bronco nameplate has been trending big time on social media as of late, and popularity is much better than notoriety – just ask O.J’s Bronco.
If you’re a fan, there are loads of older models that could satisfy both your off-roading needs, as well as your need to own a rugged, good-looking classic SUV. This modded first-gen Bronco fits that mold pretty well.
It has been heavily modified inside and out, while the powertrain and gearbox were both sourced from a second-generation Ford Explorer.
Work on the off-roader started at Hutch Broncos, who removed the body from the frame and repainted it in Titanium Silver. They then added the black wheel arches, aftermarket bumpers and headlights, a body-color hardtop, 18-inch wheels with 33-inch tires, a rear spare and 5.0 badging.
